Scholarship Information
The IACC-Pars Place “Rising Together” Scholarship Program is a new community initiative dedicated to empowering individuals by increasing access to education, professional development, and skills-based training. The program provides financial support to eligible applicants pursuing:
● Trade schools and vocational training programs
● Specialty certification programs, e.g. dental assistance, IT certifications, cosmetology
● Courses or credits required to obtain U.S. degree equivalency or licensure
● Books, exam fees or required learning materials
● Partial stipends to support education-related expenses if appropriate

IACC-Pars Place is committed to uplifting our community by helping individuals with demonstrated financial need gain the knowledge, tools, and credentials necessary to build sustainable careers, achieve financial independence, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. After completing the form all applicants should email financial need documentation (tax return or pay stubs) and proof of acceptance/enrollment, if applicable. All communication regarding the application process will be over email. Applications will be reviewed within a week of submission.

Eligibility
● Demonstrated financial need or strong motivation to pursue professional development
● Be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited trade, certificate, or degree program
● Be connected to the IACC-Pars Place community
● Commit to completing the selected program
● Submit all required documents and complete the form
● Major donors, officers, directors, or their immediate family members are not eligible

Application
Applicants will have to email a copy of their tax returns as well as a letter of recommendation, or a list of references in lieu, if applicable, in addition to completing the form. All application materials, including submitted tax returns, will be treated as confidential.
Additional Conditions
Grant awards are intended to support participation in approved educational, training, or enrichment programs that further the IACC’s charitable mission. Grant awards are conditional upon the recipient’s timely enrollment in and good-faith participation in the approved program.
Grant funds will be paid directly to the program provider and are not distributed as cash to recipients.
Recipients are expected to make reasonable efforts to complete the approved program in accordance with the program’s standard requirements. If a recipient is unable to enroll in or complete the program due to illness, family emergency, financial hardship, or other extenuating circumstances, the recipient may request consideration from the IACC Board of Directors.
Failure to enroll in or participate in the approved program, absent approved extenuating circumstances, may result in forfeiture of the grant and reallocation of funds to other eligible applicants, at the discretion of the IACC Board of Directors. Grant funds do not constitute a cash entitlement.
